Love your site Steve. I'm glad to see that you are keeping the tradition of club badges going. It's great to see the badges you have collected from all over the world including the impressive crossed hammers collection. Keep the good work up mate and if I find any on my travels I'll be sure to send you them. COYI
Well done Steve - a great site. Here's hoping you collect many more badges in the future.

Great work Steve!! The amount of information, memorabilia and basically everything West Ham you have posted on Hammerschat is absolutely fantastic!! I don't think there is anyone out there with more claret and blue in their veins. Thanks for keeping us updated and reminding us of the memories and also all the good stuff from before my time. Keep up the good work sir!!
Well done Steve, badges are a big part of any football clubs history and are often overlooked, your photos of badges by club and country are fantastic, it's a shame since we moved from the Boleyn how the badge sellers have disappeared, Ive always stopped to have a look outside the supporters club before home games and to see no sign of badge sellers anymore is a great shame, keep up he good work mate, cheers
Nice one Steve, Everyone loves a badge, and none finer than a hammers one

Great work Steve. History is absolutely everything for a football club and those like yourself who are passionate about its celebration and preservation are as special as they are important. I salute you sir for some fine work and wish you all the best in continuing..... -Tone
Wow . . I feel rather honoured that Steve has asked me to write in this guest book . . Thank you Steve. I do follow Steve on Twitter and recently on Facebook and absolutely love his posting, whether it's a picture of days gone by, an old player or a picture of news clipping about our great club , it's always a pleasure to see . I have followed Steve for some time now on Twitter and love the work he does in posting articles and pictures of years gone by and he has a clear passion for what he does and that is reflected too in the work he has put into this website. Keep up the good work Steve. COYI
I have had the great pleasure of following Steve's various musings on West Ham for over a decade now. Steve is quite possibly the most important archivist in West Ham's history, with a vast collection of cuttings, snippets and other souvenirs from around the world, through the good and the (mostly) bad. His passion for the club is legendary, his collection a thing of beauty, which I try and add to when I can. Many of us thought a large part of the history of our club was taken away by the move to Stratford, not to mention the selling of many club items to the highest bidder. For those wanting to be part of the history of our great club, following the Boleyn Badge's twitter feed, and visiting this fine site, it a must. Thank you Steve, for more than you can imagine.
Looks brilliant dad be proud of your website I'm a proud son
I always find it how remarkable and diverse the West Ham supporters are. Just a brief browse through the badges shows how many of our loyal fans come from far and wide. Visiting the badge and scarf sellers was always a massive part of everyone'e match-day ritual when going to Upton Park and that is sadly something that no longer exists. This is why Boleyn Badges is such an important site, it gives us a link to our past and our own supporter heritage. There is something very special about wearing an enamel badge with your supporters club crest on it and unfortunately something that is dying as the game of football marches towards corporate modernisation. So well done to all involved . . . . . . . . .a little bit of our history is now documented for all to see and enjoy. Gonzo
