Well done Steve, badges are a big part of any football clubs history and are often overlooked, your photos of badges by club and country are fantastic, it's a shame since we moved from the Boleyn how the badge sellers have disappeared, Ive always stopped to have a look outside the supporters club before home games and to see no sign of badge sellers anymore is a great shame, keep up he good work mate, cheers

I have had the great pleasure of following Steve's various musings on West Ham for over a decade now. Steve is quite possibly the most important archivist in West Ham's history, with a vast collection of cuttings, snippets and other souvenirs from around the world, through the good and the (mostly) bad. His passion for the club is legendary, his collection a thing of beauty, which I try and add to when I can. Many of us thought a large part of the history of our club was taken away by the move to Stratford, not to mention the selling of many club items to the highest bidder. For those wanting to be part of the history of our great club, following the Boleyn Badge's twitter feed, and visiting this fine site, it a must. Thank you Steve, for more than you can imagine.

I always find it how remarkable and diverse the West Ham supporters are. Just a brief browse through the badges shows how many of our loyal fans come from far and wide. Visiting the badge and scarf sellers was always a massive part of everyone'e match-day ritual when going to Upton Park and that is sadly something that no longer exists. This is why Boleyn Badges is such an important site, it gives us a link to our past and our own supporter heritage. There is something very special about wearing an enamel badge with your supporters club crest on it and unfortunately something that is dying as the game of football marches towards corporate modernisation. So well done to all involved . . . . . . . . .a little bit of our history is now documented for all to see and enjoy. Gonzo
